Four (four-year term) positions will be up for election to the office of Commissioner of the St. Charles Park District Board on April 1, 2025. Potential candidates may pick up election information packets beginning August 14, 2024 at Baker Community Center, located at 101 South Second Street, St. Charles, Illinois during normal business hours: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding holidays.
Candidates may begin circulating petitions August 20, 2024. Petitions should be filed with Jenny Santos during business hours at Baker Community Center, 101 South Second Street, St. Charles, Illinois, between November 12, 2024 at 8 a.m. and November 18, 2024 at 5 p.m.
Park board commissioners do not receive any compensation and serve four-year terms. Commissioners are expected to serve on committees and attend a minimum of two to three meetings each month. In addition, commissioners are assigned to represent the Park District as liaisons to various not-for-profit groups and organizations. Candidates must be residents of the St. Charles Park District.
